1. Think in yourself more and less ten years from now as a religious missionary priest or brother…

2. Think how it will be an entire day in your future in a mission like priest or brother….

3. Think about what you spend all your time in a week and all that a priest or brother does in a week…

4. Think in Jesus looking you and calling you by your name and asking what is the desire of your heart…

5. Think if you’ve asked yourself about your vocation discernment…

6. Think and make a list of all the reasons it would be a good idea for you to become a religious missionary priest or brother….

7. Think on priests or brothers, Missionaries of Christ or  others who have been mentors for you…

8. Think in your own vocation for the rest of your life…

9. Think and consider attending a discernment to better understand life as a candidate for religious or priestly life…

10. Think, perhaps, this is the ideal time to respond to the call of the Lord…

Almighty and eternal God,

in your unfailing love you provide
ministers for your Church.
We pray for those whom you call
to serve the Church
as priests.
Inspire in them a generous response.
Grant them courage and vision to
serve your people
May their lives and service call your
people to respond to the presence
of your Spirit among us
that, faithful to the Gospel and
hope of Jesus the Christ, we may:
announce glad tidings to the poor
proclaim liberty to captives,
set prisoners free
and renew the face of the earth.

Some Signs of a Missionary Priestly Vocation…

If one man has ever thought about being a missionary priest, these qualities may be clues to a future priestly vocation:

1. God has placed in his heart a desire to be a priest and to go to announce his name around the world.

2. He has a deep love for Christ, His Church, and the Holy Father`s teachings.

3. He listens some people mentions that he would be a good priest.

4. He desires to live a life of virtue and prayer, attends Mass, prays frequently, receives the sacrament of Confession, serves others, and strives to grow spiritually.

5. He wants to help others grow closer to Christ. He wants to help all the people grow in holiness; he wants to teach them the truths of the faith; he wants to minster to them during the trials of life. The vocation of missionary priesthood is about leading others, from the diferentes countries of the earth to heaven.

Maybe you are one of them…

If you’ve thought about the possibility of missionary priesthood, but don’t yet have all these signs and qualities, don’t despair! All people must strive for holiness. And future missionaries go through a long and intensive formation period, precisely to help them grow in virtue and be effective in their ministry.
